Tube experiment with car bulb !
I tried out the tube effect with an car bulb, and it works !!!!
The priciple of an tube is an negative kathode and an positive anode.
The kathode must be heated to make it emit elektrons, and the anode must be high positive to atract them.
To get an very hot kathode, I used an car front light. They get very hot and will be very good to emit elektrons.
For the anode I used very thin copper, what I tight over the glas bulb.
For the high anode voltage I used 310V dc, directly rectified from the 230V/50Hz. AC.
The effect was only very little, because the distance between kathode and anode is about 8mm, and the anode
voltage is low (310V), but still the effect was measurable with an high impedance volt-meter.
My next step is to break the glas and put an anode closer to the kathode (bulb wire).
The problem is to make it vaccum, so the anode wire will not burn.

EVEN WHEN YOU SWITCHED OF THE POWER SUPPLY !!!
